leiap

leiap is a custom Python package designed for use by the Landscape, Encounters, and Identity Archaeology (LEIA) Project. It provides functions for:

  • building SQL queries and sending them to the project database

  • data quality checks

  • data wrangling

  • calculation of key survey metrics

  • progress tracking

  • creating tables and charts for technical reports

  • exploratory data visualization and mapping

  • project management tasks

Outputs

Because the leiap package is designed only for internal project use, it is not available on the Python Package Index. You can, however, view full technical documentation for the package or visit the leiap GitHub repository.
