R. Jay is the technical support person for the lab and staff in the Anthropology department. In the past, he has worked at field schools and archaeological research projects in Corsica with DigAR Lab Director Marcos Llobera.
On digital technologies in archaeology...
R. Jay previously worked on digital archaeology issues for a dissertation at the U.S. National Park Service in their national offices, responding to climate change. He has also worked in landscape and GIS research, especially spatial based predictive models, in oil spills, disaster response, and search and rescue.
